Edith Falls (Leliyn) Camp Ground. Nitmiluk National Park NT
(July 2021, July 2024)
Edith Falls campground offers a bush setting with numbered unpowered sites. The campground itself is located about 200m from the Edith Falls plunge pool.
Bookings are limited and essential, so if you know your dates book in advance as peak season (June to Sept are extremely busy). Bookings can be made through through the Northern Territory Parks Online Booking System or by contacting NT Parks on 1300 281 121. Sites vary in size, and can be tight and pokey so know your vehicle and van size. Generators and pets are not permitted, also there are no bins so take your rubbish.
The campground also has flushing toilets, showers and an operating Kiosk. I did a 🥧 review here a few years ago. Sadly 🥧’s are no longer made here. The kiosk hours are 9am – 5pm (kitchen closes at 3.30pm) during peek period. 10.30am -3pm with only basic menu during off-peak period.
The various swimming holes and walking tracks are up there with the best in the NT. Each water hole offers something very unique, wear appropriate footwear. This is a epic campground and an absolute must stay.
