Last weekend Pyney’s 🥧 Reviews hit the road to the South Burnett Region. Only 2 short hours from Noosa you will find the little town of Blackbutt. Right in the middle of town you will find the iconic Blackbutt Bakery. Now this place is INSANE !!!!! The best way to describe this place is Disneyland for 🥧 lovers !!!!! I was in heaven !!!!!
With 🥧 flavors such at Big Mac !!!! WTF !!!!! That’s right a 🥧 that tastes exactly like a Big Mac but better. Cheeseburger 🥧 !!!!! Nacho Bison 🥧 !!!!! Pig Dog 🥧 !!!!! Red Wine and Garlic 🥧 and Lasagne 🥧 just to name a few. This place had it all and that’s just 🥧’s.
The brains trust behind this team is Roberta, Jim and Franka. I was totally blown away by the warmth of these people and their passion for cooking and making awesome food. Roberta and Jim took over this place 10 years ago and in that time have tuned this place into one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to. For the first 4 years after taking over they had no power and relied on generators and a whopping 5m x 5m wood fired oven to bake and cook food. The building is over 100 years old and full of history and great stories. After smashing a few OUTSTANDING 🥧’s I decided on reviewing the Nacho Bison !!!

1. Value for Money – At $6.80 people would argue that’s expensive but this 🥧 was huge and 100% worth every cent. 10/10
2. Meat Ratio – As photos prove this 🥧 and all there 🥧’s are 100% full to capacity. 10/10
3. Meat Flavor – Bison meat !!!!! are you serious who does that and then adds nachos. This was crazy crazy crazy INSANE !!!! Words cannot describe how tasteful this 🥧 was. 10/10
4. Pastry – 1 word “OUTSANDING” 10/10
5. Temperature – 100% perfect !!! 10/10

Now this score is unbelievable !!! But this 🥧 was unbelievable !!!! And what makes this story even better Roberta, Jim and Franka had no baking experience when they took over this place !!!! Yep that’s right NON bakers, just passionate people who love cooking, love making 🥧’s and love their community. I cannot thank the team at Blackbutt Bakery for their hospitality last weekend and the full tour of the bakery. I’ve met some remarkable people doing these 🥧’s reviews but this visit was AWESOME !!!!
Anyone who loves 🥧’s needs to get in there car, bike or their horse and get out to Blackbutt have a 🥧 and say gday to these wonderful owners. I will be back for sure and cannot wait. This place is a MUST visit and make sure you mention Pyney’s 🥧 Reviews
